Events

The demonstration is an important one; it immediately follows the European elections, with polls showing people across Europe opposed to the US plans. The Czech government was recently forced to withdraw the treaties it had agreed with the US in fear of losing a parliamentary ratification vote - the protest will highlight this achievement and demand a change in UK policy on US Missile Defence.

The demo will include a rally nearby and march to the gates of Fylingdales. We also hope to have a camp nearby for those who wish to stay overnight.

We need you now to:

* order the promotional postcards and start mobilising.

* organise a local hustings meeting to ask European candidates where they stand.

* organise a mini-bus from your town.
