Nearest Bus stops

Bus 2 from Basingstoke rail station to Bishopswood Road in Tadley (get off at first stop, by red telephone box): runs every 20 minutes (every 30 minutes Sundays), leaves from stop on opposite side of road below rail station (see display outside station, destination is Baughurst)

Alternatively (slower and less frequent, but may be more convenient), bus 143/148 from Reading rail station to Franklin Rd and Bishopswood Rd in Tadley. Bus leaves from furthest stop on right hand side outside rail station, usually 1 bus per hour (not Sundays).

Nearest train stations

Double-check times on traveline as above, as a rough guide (may be out of date):

Mortimer (10 mins by car) to Reading (for London etc) at 17 and 27 minutes past the hour. Saturday: 25 and 55 minutes past.

Sunday: one train an hour, at 52 minutes past

Mortimer to Basingstoke at 01 and 31 minutes past the hour, including Saturdays. One train an hour (21 mins past) on Sundays.

Aldermaston(10 mins by car) to Reading Trains at 8.09, 8.38, 9.13 and then 26 minutes past each hour until 17.25, 18.11, 18.45, 20.54, 22.38.

Saturdays: 26 minutes past each hour(some a few minutes later).

Sunday: no trains. Trains from Aldermaston also go to Newbury.
